| Cultural Arts
Series – Central Lakes College
The
Cultural Arts Series is the performing arts
series at Central Lakes College. It is the goal
of the Series to bring to local stages
professional artists of national and
international reputation. A wide variety of
quality artists from the worlds of theatre,
music, dance, film, and literature are presented
by the Series at affordable prices. Series
producer Patrick Spradlin calls this year the
most ambitious season of the series’ history,
with 15 scheduled events and plans to add
additional programs later. “I’m really excited
about the lineup of shows I’ve been able to find
for this year,” said Spradlin. “There are some
returning favorites, some legendary performers,
and several new offerings that I think people
will really enjoy.” Also, for the first time
since the series began, ticket packages tailored
to particular interests are available."

Stuart Little -
Presented by Windwood Theatricals
Apr. 13, 2012, 7:00 p.m.
Windwood Theatricals brings
us the E.B. White fantasy of Stuart who is a
little mouse, born to real human parents in New
York City. Stuart enjoys adventures in Central
Park and then tries to rescue his friend
Margalo, a beautiful bird, from the pursuit of
Snowbell, their house cat. As this mild mannered
mouse tries to cope in a 'real person's' workd,
he professes that size is not important. It is
temperament and ability that count.
