4th of July Festivities and Fabulous Activities All Around the Area
The Brainerd Lakes Area is Minnesota's Playground AND 4th of July Capitol. With dozens of activities being held across the region there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The fireworks displays start on Saturday, July 1 and there are mulitple events and locations being held every night until July 4. For more information visit our events calendar. Each community has speciifc celebrations and activities as well. Be sure to learn more about what's happening in Brainerd, Crosslake, Cuyuna Lakes, Nisswa and Pequot Lakes. Activities include arts in the park, fun runs, live music, great food and parades.
Brainerd International Raceway is hostiing the 31st Annual PleasureLand RV Show & Go—a great Fourth of July tradition. Offering fans a chance to see ridiculous head-to-head drag racing action as well as wide-open wheel-to-wheel racing on the road course. The event also includes a classic car show, fireworks, camping and live music.
The Cass County Fair in Pine River is also being held this weekend. Midway, games and rides, sanctioned 4-H fair, animals, grandstand events and lots of fun for everyone!
Round out the week with Iconic Fest on July 7-8. This annual two-day music festival will be featuring Joe Diffie, The Georgia Satellites, T.G. Sheppard and more!
If you are feeling adventurous, enter the Paul Bunyan Extreme Race. Are you tough enough to finish a race designed to finish you? You will be faced with over 20 insane obstacles spread out over a 2.9 mile course covered in hills, mud, and challenges! Water slides, rope swings, mud pits, and more!
