While you're visiting Brainerd be sure to check out these seasonal craft beer favorites and locations:

  • Jacktober by Jack Pine Brewery is Jack Pine's twist on an Oktoberfest style beer. All the bready, toasty, malt smoothness of your favorite fest beer with the soft, well-rounded, character that can only be achieved by the warmer fermentation of an ale yeast.
  • Der Zug Oktoberfest by Roundhouse Brewery: “Der Zug” is German for “The Train.” This train is a coppery red lager full of German malt, with a medium body and full malty aroma, and just a touch of noble hop bitterness.
  • Gull Dam Oktoberfest is a Munich party beer, created nearly two centuries ago, to celebrate the cooler fall weather that signals the start of the harvest brewing season. It is an easy drinker with the crispness of a lager that is offset with the smoothness of our Vienna malt. Prost!
  • Big Axe
  • Cuyuna Brewing Company
  • 14 Lakes Brewery
