2018 Gull Lake Frozen Fore Winter Weekend
Next Upcoming Date: Friday, February 23 2018
The Gull Lake Frozen Fore Winter Weekend takes place in the Brainerd Lakes Area each February.
Friday night begins with the annual Frozen Flop, our version of the polar plunge, which raises money for local charities. Not only does the Frozen Flop occur in the middle of Hole-in-the-Day bay, but also under a heated tent. Unlike any other flop, spectators stay warm, and floppers keep out of the wind making it a truly unique event. Following the flop, is our heated Tent Party! Showcasing an ice bar, food and live music, the Tent Party is a super way to kick off the evening.
Saturday morning begins with a Pancake Feed and follows with snow golf at seven establishments around Gull Lake: Jake’s, The Pines at Grand View Lodge, Ernie’s, Zorbaz, Cowboy’s, Bar Harbor, and Cragun’s. The evening ends with a tent party with live music.
Finishing the Frozen Fore weekend is Sunday’s Food Fest. This cook-off features a variety of local restaurants showcasing their flavors in a taste competition for the best flavors in the area.
